Smart Card Controller SCC

Smart Card Reader/writer For Embedded, Stand-alone or TCP/IP Networks

The SCC is a flexible controller with uses in many applications where a smart card reader requires its own intelligence to perform specific card related functions locally or over a network.

This programmable controller can be used in a variety of application. One example is vending, the controller can be programmed to decrement an electronic purse and start the machines vending cycle. Card data can be transferred over Ethernet networks using TCP/IP interface. In addition to the standard configuration, SCC can be supplied as customised variants with options including keypad, alpha numeric display, card hold during read, biometric sensor and external control devices.
